Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using provided diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols and monitor network performance
- Document network configurations and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless IT operations
- Train end-users on network best practices
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or relevant certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency in Cisco and Juniper equipment operation
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, and wireless protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs for equipment installation
- Valid New York State driver's license (for client site visits)
