As a Network Technician, you will work alongside senior engineers to maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade our client networks. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or career changers looking to break into the IT industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Perform physical cabling tasks, including running Cat6 cable and rack mounting equipment.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues reported by end-users.
- Document network configurations and changes accurately using standard operating procedures.
- Support junior staff and participate in team meetings to discuss technical challenges and solutions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and obtain industry certifications (CCNA, Network+).
