Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and configuration of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Perform structured cabling and cable management tasks for new and existing infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve technical problems reported by end-users.
- Support senior technicians with hardware setup, router configuration, and switch maintenance.
- Conduct routine network audits to ensure system performance and security standards are met.
- Document all technical work and update inventory logs accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift and carry networking equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing to learn and obtain relevant certifications (paid for by company).
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
