Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Implement network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud engineers to optimize hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for complex network issues
- Lead network upgrades including IPv6 migration and 10GigE deployments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNP or equivalent Cisco certification required
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Strong scripting skills with Python or PowerShell
- Familiarity with VMware ESXi and Hyper-V virtualization
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela or Meraki)
- Valid CompTIA Security+ certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
