Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure.
- Configure and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patch management to ensure system reliability and security.
- Monitor network performance and analyze traffic logs to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Respond to and resolve network outages and connectivity problems efficiently with minimal downtime.
- Document network configurations, changes, and standard operating procedures for team reference.
- Assist in cabling projects and physical network setup for new office installations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with Cisco IOS, Juniper, or similar enterprise network equipment.
- Familiarity with network security protocols, VPNs, and firewall configuration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.
