Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and troubleshoot Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems.
- Monitor network performance and traffic to identify bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities proactively.
- Perform routine maintenance on routers, switches, firewalls, and servers to ensure optimal uptime.
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide expert technical support to internal staff regarding network connectivity and hardware issues.
- Upgrade and patch network firmware to ensure optimal security and performance compliance.
- Assist in the physical installation of cabling infrastructure and network hardware.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Valid CCNA or equivalent networking certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in network administration or technical support.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Proficiency with networking tools such as Wireshark, Ping, Traceroute, and Nmap.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment.
