As a Network Technician, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise-grade network solutions. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your technical skills will directly influence our operational success and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and traffic to ensure optimal uptime and security.
- Perform regular system backups, patch management, and hardware upgrades.
- Provide technical support and training to internal staff regarding network usage.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes for future reference.
- Respond to and resolve network outages and service requests in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and subnetting.
- Experience with VPN configurations and firewall management (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex network issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and client interaction.
