Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and wireless network infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software conflicts efficiently.
- Perform routine network audits, security patching, and system updates to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor network traffic and traffic analysis to identify potential security breaches or performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement network upgrades, expansions, and disaster recovery plans.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and change logs.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification such as CCNA, Network+, or CCNA Security is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in network administration or technical support.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP), and switching technologies.
- Proficiency with network management tools and diagnostic software (e.g., Wireshark, PingPlotter).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems under pressure.
