Responsibilities
- Install & Configure: Deploy and maintain local and wide-area network (LAN/WAN) hardware and software.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, latency problems, and hardware failures.
- Cabling & Infrastructure: Perform fiber and copper cabling, termination, and rack-and-stack server installations.
- Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools to ensure network uptime and security across client sites.
- Documentation: Create and maintain accurate network diagrams and technical documentation.
- Support: Assist in Level 1 and Level 2 help desk support for end-users.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior network experience required (Paid Training provided).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computers, operating systems, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics/basements.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
