Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network infrastructure upgrades and expansions
- Document network configurations, procedures, and incident reports using industry-standard tools
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance network efficiency
- Ensure compliance with NIST and SOC 2 security standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or related field; Bachelor's preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper networking hardware
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols
- Certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent) required
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
