Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with rapid response protocols
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network optimization projects
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and network security policies
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related user issues
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent certification (CCNA, Network+)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours for maintenance windows
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional site visits
