Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement and enforce network security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal teams and external clients
- Collaborate with cloud services and hybrid network environments
- Conduct regular network audits and optimize infrastructure for scalability
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network infrastructure
- CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Experience with Cisco/Juniper hardware and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to document technical processes
