Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with SLA-driven urgency
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premises and AWS/Azure environments
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and QoS policies for enterprise clients
- Conduct network vulnerability assessments and remediation planning
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Meraki systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills using network monitoring tools
- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
