Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark to identify and resolve issues
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related user requests and incidents
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network upgrades and expansion projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network hardware
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
