Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced monitoring tools like SolarWinds
- Implement and troubleshoot VPN solutions for remote access
- Document network topologies, configurations, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team on threat detection and mitigation
- Provide Tier 3 technical support to resolve complex network issues
- Conduct regular network audits and optimization projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on network infrastructure experience
- Cisco CCNP or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configurations
- Experience with cloud networking solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Wireshark and packet analysis
- Valid Alaska driver's license for occasional on-site visits
