Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Wireshark to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud integration projects (AWS/Azure)
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network outages and performance issues
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network infrastructure
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, and QoS configurations
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022 and Active Directory
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions and cloud networking technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network analyzers and diagnostic tools
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
