Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software conflicts efficiently.
- Monitor network performance and security to ensure optimal uptime and data integrity.
- Perform regular system backups, updates, and security patches.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design scalable network solutions for new projects.
- Document all network configurations, changes, and technical procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding network usage and best practices.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ certification preferred.
- Proven experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel to client sites within the Henderson area.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
