About the Role:
As a Network Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability and security of our client's network environments. You will work closely with senior engineers to implement new technologies and resolve complex technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and uptime for all systems.
- Respond to and resolve network incidents and service tickets in a timely manner.
- Perform regular network audits and security patch management to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Document all network configurations, changes, and procedures accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades.
Qualifications
- Certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with network monitoring tools and remote management software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to client sites.
