Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues using diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Document network configurations and create detailed technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system outages and network disruptions
- Support cloud integration initiatives and hybrid network solutions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in routing/switching protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF)
- Strong understanding of network security principles and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
