Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and Wireshark tools
- Document network topology changes and implement security protocols
- Provide Tier 3 support for VPN, VoIP, and cloud-based services
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team to prevent network breaches
- Manage VLANs and subnetting for 500+ endpoint environments
- Perform network capacity planning and hardware upgrades
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in enterprise network administration
- CCNA/CCNP certification required (CompTIA Network+ acceptable)
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, and Palo Alto firewalls
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred
- Valid Louisiana driver's license for occasional on-site visits
