Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and manage ticket queues
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues via remote and on-site support
- Implement network security protocols including VLAN segmentation and firewall management
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to optimize hybrid infrastructure
- Provide Tier 2/3 support during critical incidents and scheduled maintenance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA or equivalent industry certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS and Meraki
- Strong knowledge of network security principles (ACLs, VPN, IDS/IPS)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex Layer 2-3 issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNP preferred
