Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively address security vulnerabilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related issues across enterprise systems
- Document network configurations, changes, and create detailed technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades and expansions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network security
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical network incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration and troubleshooting
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
