Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and network security protocols
- Document network changes and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network outages
- Perform regular hardware/software updates and patch management
- Support cloud infrastructure integration (AWS/Azure)
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Technology or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid Kansas driver's license for occasional on-site visits
