Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and hardware failures in a timely manner.
- Manage cabling infrastructure, including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optics, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of network security protocols and access controls.
- Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute network infrastructure projects.
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps accurately.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Valid CCNA or Comptia Network+ certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in network administration or technical support.
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools and diagnostic software.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Ability to lift and carry network equipment weighing up to 50 lbs for on-site installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
