Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues across hybrid infrastructure
- Implement security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Document network changes and maintain accurate topology diagrams
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network outages
- Collaborate with cloud services teams for hybrid solutions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent vendor credentials
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues remotely
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Valid NYS driver's license for occasional on-site visits
