Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and optimize bandwidth usage
- Troubleshoot network issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
- Document network configurations, security protocols, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations
- Ensure network security through regular updates and vulnerability assessments
- Provide technical support to end-users and escalate complex issues appropriately
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with network infrastructure management
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Strong knowledge of Cisco and Juniper network devices
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
