Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with SLA-driven response times
- Document network topologies, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premises solutions with AWS/Azure
- Implement network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues and escalate vendor tickets
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper hardware
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent industry certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Palo Alto, Cisco Viptela)
- Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark, ping, and traceroute
- Familiarity with VMware ESXi and Hyper-V virtualization
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work flexible hours for maintenance windows
- BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
