Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues across hybrid cloud environments
- Document network infrastructure using Visio and Lucidchart
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including VPNs and intrusion detection systems
- Collaborate with cloud providers (AWS/Azure) for hybrid solutions
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for enterprise clients
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC/Azure VNet)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills using Wireshark and packet analyzers
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
- Valid Florida driver's license for occasional on-site visits
