Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems and network hardware
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols and ensure network compliance
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives
- Provide user training on network best practices
- Manage network upgrades and hardware replacements
- Ensure 99.9% network uptime through proactive maintenance
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency in Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- CCNP certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
