Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues and hardware failures promptly.
- Document network architecture and changes using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement complex network solutions.
Qualifications
- Certification such as CCNA, CCNA Voice, or Network+ is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network infrastructure support or similar IT roles.
- Proficiency in configuring Cisco routers and switches.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 50 lbs) as required for on-site work.
- Valid driverâs license and clean driving record.
