- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network topologies and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with vendors for equipment procurement and maintenance
- Provide Tier 3 support for network-related user issues
- Conduct regular network audits and capacity planning
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Network Engineering or 3+ years equivalent experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco/Juniper equipment and VMware virtualization
- Experience with SD-WAN and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting skills using OSI model methodology
- Knowledge of IPv6 and subnetting principles
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible hours
