Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cloud services (AWS/Azure) integration projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or IT-related field
- 3+ years of hands-on network infrastructure experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configurations
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network monitoring tools
- Experience with VPN implementations and firewall management
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in server environments
