Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced diagnostic tools and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats and ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy cloud-based solutions and hybrid networks
- Document network configurations and create comprehensive technical documentation
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for enterprise clients
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or 3+ years of relevant experience
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet network hardware
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with network troubleshooting methodologies
- Ability to work independently during flexible hours while meeting SLAs
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site client visits
