- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network topology and create/update technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex network issues
- Perform regular network maintenance and system upgrades
- Provide Tier 3 support for network-related incidents
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols
- Experience with network security best practices (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
