Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments
- Implement cybersecurity measures and conduct regular vulnerability assessments
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation for SOPs
- Collaborate with system administrators to integrate network solutions
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related user issues
- Conduct network capacity planning and performance optimization
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network equipment
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
