Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement and enforce network security protocols and best practices
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for end-users and internal stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging networking technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or IT-related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Expertise in TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- Strong knowledge of network security principles and tools
- Experience with network monitoring systems (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
