Our Wichita R&D center is expanding rapidly, and we need your expertise to develop scalable microservices, optimize cloud infrastructure, and mentor junior engineers. Collaborate with product teams to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions while maintaining rigorous quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native applications using AWS/GCP
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices across development teams
- Architect microservices with event-driven patterns and container orchestration
- Optimize system performance through database tuning and caching strategies
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, or Go with strong OOP fundamentals
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Strong problem-solving skills with debugging complex systems
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
