Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum computing systems, focusing on error correction and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, software engineers, and hardware specialists to integrate quantum modules into hybrid cloud environments.
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms to solve complex business problems in logistics, cryptography, and material science.
- Lead R&D initiatives to explore emerging quantum technologies, including topological qubits and quantum annealing.
- Define technical roadmaps and best practices for quantum software development and deployment.
- Mentor junior architects and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 3 years specifically in quantum computing or supercomputing.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles, including linear algebra, probability theory, and complex numbers.
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Experience with Python, C++, and high-performance computing clusters.
- Strong track record of leading technical teams and managing large-scale technical projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
