Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response for complex attacks
- Develop and implement security automation scripts using Python
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives
- Collaborate with CISO on security strategy and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in leadership roles
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Gold Standard
- Expertise in network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Advanced knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
- Strong understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR frameworks
