Responsibilities
- Contribute to Feature Development: Write clean, scalable, and testable code for our core web and mobile applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Debug & Optimize: Analyze codebases to identify bugs, improve performance, and enhance user experience (UX) based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate on Agile Sprints: Participate actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to deliver high-quality software incrementally.
- Database Management: Assist in designing and maintaining efficient database schemas and ensuring data integrity for our financial equity platforms.
- Documentation: Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to our internal knowledge base to support team onboarding.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Programming Basics: Demonstrated knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#).
- Problem Solving: Strong logical thinking and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable steps.
- Learning Agility: A self-starter attitude with a hunger to learn new technologies quickly; no prior job experience required.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Tools: Familiarity with Git, version control systems, and basic command-line interfaces.
