About the Role
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will work closely with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions. You will be exposed to modern development practices, agile methodologies, and a collaborative environment designed to foster growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test high-quality software applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in various programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
- Debug and resolve software defects to ensure optimal system performance.
- Assist in the implementation of APIs and integrations with third-party services.
- Engage in daily stand-ups and sprint planning to track progress and align on goals.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Understanding of core computer science concepts (algorithms, data structures, and software design).
- Familiarity with at least one major programming language and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Basic knowledge of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
