Responsibilities
- Assist in Development: Collaborate with senior engineers to design, code, and test software components for our equity options trading systems.
- Code Maintenance: Debug existing codebases and improve system performance and scalability under supervision.
- Data Analysis: Support the processing of large datasets related to market trends and volatility, contributing to real-time analytics.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical documentation for code changes and system architecture.
- Testing & QA: Participate in unit testing and integration testing to ensure software reliability and security.
- Learning & Growth: actively engage in our internal training programs regarding financial derivatives and software engineering best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++; familiarity with SQL and database management.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable solutions.
- Education Mindset: No prior professional experience required; we value potential and curiosity over years on a resume.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
