Responsibilities
- Code Development: Assist in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups and code reviews to learn best practices and improve code quality under the guidance of senior staff.
- Testing & Debugging: Write unit tests and help identify and fix bugs within existing software systems to ensure stability.
- Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation and API documentation to ensure seamless team communication.
- Feature Implementation: Support the development team in delivering new features and enhancements for our client-facing platforms.
- Learning: Engage in regular training sessions to master new tools, frameworks, and software development methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent coding bootcamp certifications are also accepted.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required. A strong willingness to learn and a passion for technology are essential.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript) and HTML/CSS.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced, agile development lifecycle.
