Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze daily equity options volume, open interest, and implied volatility trends.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards using SQL, Python, and visualization tools to track market performance.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to interpret complex data sets and identify actionable trading insights.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data feeds from multiple exchanges and market data vendors.
- Assist in the development of statistical models to predict market movements.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in statistics and data analysis principles.
- Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and Python for data manipulation.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in large datasets.
- Understanding of basic financial concepts, specifically equity options and derivatives.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
