Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, organize, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Visualization: Create intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data sources, methodologies, and findings to support transparency.
- Support: Assist in the maintenance of our data warehousing systems and support ad-hoc reporting requests.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Excel Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and SUMIFS.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus, but not required for this entry-level role.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail Oriented: A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot errors in data sets.
- Drive: A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
