Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather raw data from various internal sources and clean, format, and organize it for analysis.
- Report Generation: Assist in the creation of weekly and monthly performance reports for the management team using SQL and Excel.
- Visualization: Develop clear, concise data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to help stakeholders understand complex datasets.
- Trend Analysis: Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data to support business decision-making and strategy.
- Database Support: Collaborate with the database team to ensure data integrity and accuracy within our data warehouses.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data processes and analytical methodologies for team reference.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Skill Set: Basic knowledge of SQL and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts) is required; Python or R is a plus but not mandatory.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Columbus, Ohio, with support from the company.
- Attitude: A strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a genuine curiosity for data-driven insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
