Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather raw data from various sources and ensure it is accurate, clean, and formatted for analysis.
- Reporting: Assist in the creation of clear, concise, and visually appealing dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in datasets to help inform business strategies.
- Database Support: Perform basic queries and data maintenance tasks to support the analytics team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of data processes and analysis methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel is preferred. Familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data.
- Tools: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI is a plus but not required.
- Work Ethic: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
