Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts related to equity options trading systems using SIEM tools
- Assist in implementing access controls and encryption protocols for financial data
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and contribute to incident response procedures
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats targeting financial markets
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices
- Support compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI DSS requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
