Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior analysts to gather and interpret financial data related to equity options and market derivatives.
- Perform data cleaning and preprocessing using SQL and Python to ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI to visualize market performance and risk metrics.
- Conduct research and trend analysis to assist in the creation of equity pricing models.
- Assist in the generation of daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for stakeholders.
- Monitor and document data anomalies to improve overall data quality protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- No prior experience required: We value potential and education over years on a resume.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
- Basic understanding of SQL queries or the willingness to learn.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
