Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets of equity options trades to identify patterns, volatility trends, and arbitrage opportunities.
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure real-time data accuracy for our trading desks.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using SQL and Python to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to validate models and refine trading strategies based on historical data.
- Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis on market movements to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure data compliance and integrity across all financial reporting systems.
- Monitor market news and events to assess potential impact on option pricing and liquidity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the equity options or financial services sector.
- Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial derivatives, Black-Scholes models, and market mechanics.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
